Project Overview
Qualcomm's Global System on a Chip (GSoC) team requested that I consult on the Interaction Design for one of their key multi-year initiatives that will make chip design more efficient. The ability of designers to visually interact with the design process is a critical component of this project
Despite my lack of background in SoC design or VLSI, I was able to gain sufficient domain knowledge in a relatively short time span (three 30-minute meetings with GSoC team members) to: make feature recommendations that addressed potential inefficiencies proposed by the development team, distill key use cases, and produce interactive prototypes to help guide development and gain support from key stakeholders (i.e., Department VP and cross-functional team directors).
Due to the business critical nature of this project, I am bound by NDA and cannot share any details or design artifacts from this project.
